Trigger Point Massage Therapy
Trigger Points occur when a muscle is in constant contraction typically due to how we hold and position ourselves. Generally, stiff holding patterns occur in the shoulders due to daily stress. These holding patterns go undetected to our conscious mind because they are so slight that the contraction is on the fibril level of the entire muscle. Trigger points can last years without treatment.

Typically 5-6 treatments will rid you of the full onslaught of pain. Our therapists use trigger point massage in almost all of the massages performed here. It is an effective and pain relieving, stress relieving treatment. Trigger point therapy tends to be deeper in nature, but can be performed at a light to medium level of pressure to accommodate clients needs and comfortability.

Reflexology Massage Therapy
The art of Reflexology dates back to Ancient Egypt, India and China. This technique was rediscovered in 1913 by Dr. William Fitzgerald, and was introduced to the west. Dr. Fitzgerald found that applying pressure to certain areas of the hands and feet was linked to other areas and organs of the body within the same zone. Reflexology is a complimentary therapy, which works to heal the whole body, not just prevailing symptoms. Reflexology can help restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium. This encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance. Reflexology - the ideal foot massage!
